Stratford-upon-Avon is alive with the arts throughout the year. If you are planning to visit Stratford plan early especially during special occasions.

The RSC theatre has a very busy schedule for spring and summer 2013 offering the following Shakespeare plays:
Hamlet, The Icebook, The Winter's Tale, The Empress, As You Like It, A World My Masters, Titus Andronicus, All's Well That Ends Well,
Candide, Antony and Cleopatra and a mixed bag of other entertainments.

 

Of course Stratford is also the ideal fun or family destination with the upcoming:
- 15th annual Stratford-upon-Avon Music Festival between 2-9 October with a huge variety of classical, jazz and folk concerts plus an Opera Gala evening, a family concert at the Croft Preparatory School with a performance of Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood plus the famous weekday Lunchtime Series in the Town Hall.  The many international names include cellist, Natalie Clein, Countertenor, James Bowman with an evening of Elizabethan words and music in the Guild Chapel, pianist Melvyn Tan and the opening concert, Baroque by Candlelight, in Holy Trinity Church with celebrated trumpeter, Crispian Steele-Perkins and the Handel Players.
