Farmers Market

Twice a month, throughout the year, local farmers and businesses display and sell their produce. Fresh Meats, Organic vegetables, Eggs, Cheese, freshly baked Bread and cakes can be found. Other items such as Wine, Confectionery, Jams and Pickles and not forgetting our regular hot food stand with their outdoor bred roasted pork, bacon or sausage all locally sourced. Seasonal indoor and outdoor plants are available along with flowers for that special occasion. Also take a stroll around the weekly Craft market that runs alongside the farmers market. Unusual items and gifts can be found from the many local traders to found here weekly. The Farmers market is held on the first and third Saturday of every month and is open between 9.00am and 2.00/3.00pm.

Sean Gibbs Fervour

Fervour is a 5 piece playing original music which draws on the jazz tradition alongside the earthy grooves of blues, rock and more. It features Sean Gibbs on trumpet, Ben Lee (guitar), Andy Bunting (piano), Nick Jurd (bass) and Euan Palmer (drums). On tour after recently awarded funding from Arts Council England to record their debut album at the renowned Real World Studios.

The wide- ranging repertoire is learned and rehearsed extensively in order to present a good confident performance that is exciting, moving and inspiring when heard live. People who have never heard them sing before are often thrilled with the music they have heard and their monthly charity concerts benefit from much needed funds.

Shakespeare Marathon and Half Marathon 2018
The Rotary Shakespeare Marathon - more than a marathon! Whether youre a newbie marathon runner or a more seasoned athlete looking for a personal best, The Shakespeare Marathon and Half Marathon offer runners much more than a great course, which is superbly marshalled and brilliantly organized. This is a chance to experience world famous Stratford-upon-Avon and to run amongst some of the most historical buildings in the the country and through miles of beautiful Warwickshire countryside. You'll enjoy a mainly flat, fast course, starting in the centre of the town, opposite Shakespeares old school, taking in sights such as the River Avon, Holy Trinity Church (home to the grave of William Shakespeare) and the Royal Shakespeare Theatres. You'll run through quintessential English villages, where chocolate box thatch roof cottages, hump back bridges and pretty dry stone walls are a joy to behold.
Beethovens Triple Concerto
A comparative rarity on the concert platform, Beethovens Triple Concerto is as joyous to listen to as to perform and we're delighted to be joined by the Shaham Erez Wallfisch Trio, three of the finest international instrumentalists performing today.

King Lear has ruled for many years. As age overtakes him, he divides his kingdom amongst his children. Misjudging their loyalty, he finds himself stripped of the trappings of state, wealth and power that had defined him. Gregory Dorans critically-acclaimed production returns to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre for three weeks only, with Antony Sher reprising his role as King Lear.
